Aaron learns to crawl

Wow... October is already here.... Sorry I have been so tardy with the updates but its been pretty hectic with the kids. They are both growing up soooo fast. Anyhow, at Aaron's 5 month checkup the little guy weighed a whooping 19 1/2 lbs..... wow... hehehe Kyle was only 21 pounds on his 12 month checkup. On Aaron's six month checkup (October 8) [did it a bit early], he only weighed 18 1/2 pounds so the kid lost about a pound, though he still eats like crazy.

Well Aaron is going to be six months this Saturday (the 13th) and he is already learning to crawly. Aaron took his first movements last Saturday and ever since that day has been inching forward everyday... Here are a few videos of my little boy crawling...well trying to anyways. I can't believe that he's crawling already and that he is already 6 months... my little boy is growing up right before my eyes.

Let's see what else is new with Aaron besides how big he is and his crawling habits... oh yeah ... he can now officially feed himself the bottle... all mommy has to do is give it to him...only when he's lazy do I have to feed the kid otherwise he's mister independant.

What can I say about Kyle, that kid is growing up so quick, right before my eyes.... he is talking so much more now and is understanding everything, though he still talks alot of gibberish. Here is a video of kyle being kyle, just fooling around.

More Pictures of the Quan Family Reunion

Here are some more pictures of the boys with their family from L.A.

Busy Busy Busy

Wow it has been one busy busy September, and the month isn't even over yet. This month Kyle and Aaron had the opportunity to meet all their cousins, anuts and uncles plus great grandpa from L.A. Technically Kyle had already met them last year when we went to L.A. but this was Aaron's first time meeting them. In a span on 10 days the boys got to do so many things as well as spend some good quality time with the family.

This month the boys went to two weddings [uncle Thomas and Uncle Sinh's]; they went to wonderland, centre island's centreville, chuckee cheese, CN tower and a whole lotta family dinners. Here are some pictures of the boys with their extended family from L.A.

Unfortunatly all good things must come to an end. Last Sunday and Monday everyone left :-( and its been pretty lonely). Kyle has gotten so use to them that everyday he always asked about them. Every day I have to hear "Carter? Careter?" "Auntie?" "Ong Tay?" "Cu?" etc....

Kyle and Aaron go to a Conservation Park 8/17/07

Today we took the boys to a conservation park. The name of the park I cannot remember... but I know its not too far away and that the boys (especially kyle really enjoyed it). Here are some pictures of the boys enjoying an outing outdoors.

Update on Kyle

This month Kyle turned 25 months. He is one big kid. He's understanding lots and beginning to talk a whole lot more. Most of his words are still hard to understand but he's trying to talk alot more now.

There isn't must to report on the little fellow... he's as troublesome as ever. He's very independent and loves to do things on his own.

Feeding Kyle is as difficult as ever.. He never likes to eat the same thing more than once, so mommy always has to be creative. here is Kyle eating Pasta by himself. He won't let me feed him.

As you can see... eating by himself results in a big mess. This is Kyle after the pasta meal, all covered with tomato sauce. Time for a bath. Kyle loves to take baths. He now loves to take "bubble" baths.

Here is Kyle enjoying his bath. The bubbles have all disappeared.

Well that is about all for Kyle for now. Nothing much to update. See you next time.

Aaron is finally 4 months

All I can say is where has the time gone? I can't believe that my little angel boy is already 4 months old. At his 4 month checkup Aaron weighed a whooping 17 lobs and 8 oz. That is a two pound weight gain. Aaron has already doubled his birth weight. I have a feeling that he will have no problem tripling his weight at one year.

Aaron accomplishments for this month. At three months Aaron learned to roll onto his tummy. He is now an expert at it and can hold his head high. He loves to talk and loves people talking to him. As long as you hold him he's a happy camper. Aaron is now on cereal (we started that at three months) and loves it. He has a bit in the morning and a bit at night. But without a doubt, the best thing ever is that we finally were able to put the crib to good use. Aaron is now sleeping in the crib at night and usually only wakes up once for a feeding. Sometimes he even sleeps through the night, but that is still rare.

Here is a picture of Aaron talking back.

There is no doubt in my mind that Aaron just adores his older brother Kyle. His eyes are constantly following Kyle's every movement. Whenever Kyle is around Aaron's eyes light up especially when Kyle plays with him. Here is a picture of a typical morning when Kyle insists on being near Aaron.

Here is a video of Aaron playing. He's getting more and more alert each day. He loves music and playing with things. He's learning to grip and brings everything to his mouth. Aaron is still learning to hold the bottle hehheheh he can hold the bottle and bring it to his mouth and leave it there for a few seconds but then drops it. Hopefully by the end of the month he can hold the bottle by himself (crosses my finger). Hmmm... what else cand I update you about Aaron???? I think that is about it for now. I will post an update on the other little monster tomorrow... right now momma is going to bed :-)

Here are a few more pictures of the little boys. Kyles update tomorrow :-)
